Tribal Marks in Yoruba land

Tribal mark is a specific mark which comes in different shapes and sizes commonly found on the face.There are varrious tribal marks by different ethnic groups within the Yoruba Nation ranging from the "pele" to the "Gombo"(a multiple straight and curved lines on both sides of the face.During the ancient days,this facial or tribal marks serves as a form of beauty or to depict royalty or even used to identify slaves
